VOLUME (volumevirtual.com) is a self-serve SaaS from a Vancouver-based founder that turns a single phone-shot walkthrough video into an interactive 3D property tour (Gaussian splat) a visitor can walk in the browser — no app, no headset, no camera rig. Built for real estate listings, short-term rentals and hotels, property managers, and design/venue portfolios.

## What it is
An interactive 3D tour built from one phone video. The visitor controls the camera and moves through the space. Every tour ships as a shareable URL, an iframe embed snippet, and a downloadable .ply file the customer owns.

## How it works
1. Film a slow, steady phone walkthrough — every room, edge to edge, head height. Typical input is a 1–5 minute video, under 500 MB.
2. Upload it in the dashboard. Reconstruction runs on a third-party Gaussian-splat pipeline (MakeSplat).
3. Receive a link + embed snippet. Target turnaround is under an hour from upload — typical, not guaranteed; longer videos take longer. Failed reconstructions are never charged.

## Pricing (USD, self-serve)
- Single tour: $79 one-time — one tour, 12 months hosting included, then $9/mo to keep it live. Download the file anytime.
- Solo: $99/month — 5 tours a month, hosting included while active, cancel anytime.
- Team: $299/month — 3 seats, 20 tours a month, shared brand kit, roll-up analytics. +$49/mo per extra seat, +$39 per extra tour.
- Custom: contact for brokerages / PMCs / hotel groups — white-label, SLA, bulk intake (in development).
- First tour is free; no card at signup.

## Limits
- Input: one continuous MP4 or MOV walkthrough, 60 seconds to 5 minutes (8 on Team), under 500 MB. 360/equirectangular video and edited videos are not accepted.
- Output: one Gaussian-splat scene per upload. No floor plans, no measurements, no dollhouse view, no automatic face/object blurring.

## Status (honest)
- Early-stage, founder-led, founded 2026 in Vancouver, BC, Canada; launched September 2026. Still earning its first customers.
- No published customer counts, testimonials, or measured outcome statistics. Any benchmark on the site is labelled "illustrative"; the /case/bellevue page is an explicitly illustrative example, not a real event.
