Limits

Input: One continuous walkthrough video, MP4 or MOV, up to 500 MB.
Length: 60 seconds minimum. 5 minutes maximum on single-tour and Solo; 8 minutes on Team.
Not accepted: 360 or equirectangular video, edited videos with cuts or transitions, photo sets, existing splat or mesh files.
Output: One Gaussian-splat scene per upload. No floor plans, no measurements, no dollhouse view, no mesh export.

Turnaround

Target: Under an hour from upload to an embed-ready tour. Typical, not guaranteed.
Why not guaranteed: Reconstruction time scales with video length and with load on the third-party pipeline. Stalled jobs are redispatched automatically; stuck jobs are failed after a cut-off and never charged.
SLA: None on any self-serve plan. A contracted SLA is part of the Custom tier in development.

What VOLUME is not

Not hardware: There is no camera, scanner, rotator, or kit to buy. Any recent phone works. LiDAR is not used.
Not an agency: No photographers, operators, or editing service. The customer films; the pipeline reconstructs.
Not an app: No iPhone or Android app. Record with the phone's Camera app, upload in the browser.
No published proof: VOLUME publishes no customer counts, testimonials, named clients, logos, or outcome statistics. The one case study (/case/bellevue) is labelled illustrative and uses hypothetical numbers. The homepage demo walkthrough is VOLUME's own footage, not a customer tour. Real tours are on /gallery, read live from the database.
No ratings in structured data: The site emits no aggregateRating or review markup.
No automatic blurring: Faces and objects are not blurred after capture. Remove sensitive items before filming.

Privacy and data

Visitor analytics: Anonymous: a browser-generated session id, tour slug, dwell buckets, device class, coarse region. No third-party advertising trackers on tour pages.
Customer data: Raw video and reconstructed files are stored in cloud storage and deleted when a tour or account is deleted. Subprocessors are listed at /legal/subprocessors. A DPA is available at /legal/dpa.
